Those who become Arlington Knights join a diverse, active community. With approximately 2000 members and their families, the Arl2473 Council is probably larger than the towns some of us grew up in.
In addition to the sense of community that can be found within our council organization, as one would expect of the Columbian order, we reach out to and interact with the larger communities in which we live. This includes our larger Northern Virginia area, our parishes, and our Mother Church. Through this charitable and social activity we express to those around us our core Catholic and Columbian values.
Did you know that many of the events and services we offer through the Council and Columbus Club are open to members and non-members alike? The Knights of Columbus Summer Fun Camp is open to all children aged 5 to 12. Swimming pool memberships are available to both Arl2473 and non-Knight families. Many of our regular food events, curtesy of our professional chef, are open to the general public, including; the Family Breakfast (third Sunday of every month) and the Supper Club (usually the last Friday of the month). Always review the Knight Life for up-to-date information about these activities.
Explore the pages of this section of the website to sample the many clubs and events we offer. You'll also find we love to eat at Arlington Council and many or our more regular "Food Favorites" are described here.
